Launch Ceremony of the "Deep Connection Between Jinan and Taiwan, Fragrant Spring Tea" Series Held at Jinan Confucian Temple

 

Recently, the launch ceremony for the "Deep Affection Between Jinan and Taiwan, Fragrant Spring Tea" series of events was officially held at the Jinan Confucian Temple. This event featured a video link with a sub-venue in Taipei. The ceremony consisted of two main segments: performances and the launch ceremony. Over 240 tea industry professionals and students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait participated in the event.

During the performance segment, the grand Chinese musical piece "March of the Elephant King" commenced gracefully, showcasing the majestic splendor of Chinese culture. Following this, the First Secretary delivered an emotionally rich recitation titled "Spring Affection for Youth," highlighting the vivid results of assistance programs and the vibrant life in the villages. Next, the guests presented a tea ceremony demonstration called "Fragrant Integration of Spring Tea," allowing the audience to appreciate the unique charm of the fusion of spring water and tea. Students from both sides of the strait collectively recited excerpts from the "Analects of Confucius," experiencing the wisdom and philosophy of Confucianism.

The launch of the "Deep Connection Between Jinan and Taiwan, Fragrant Spring Tea" series aims to open a pathway for the youth of Jinan and Taiwan to connect, understand, and resonate with each other. It is hoped that this event will become a "knot of unity,” promoting the heartfelt bond between compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, leading to social harmony and fulfillment. Hong Fengru, a youth representative from Taiwan participating in the main event in Jinan, remarked, "Tea cannot be discussed without water; good tea requires good water to brew." The integration of "spring" and "tea" symbolizes the cooperative and communicative efforts between the two sides, heralding a brighter future together.

The "Deep Connection Between Jinan and Taiwan, Fragrant Spring Tea" series will use tea culture as a medium, combined with Confucian classics, traditional arts, and rural cultural promotion, to deepen cultural exchanges between compatriots on both sides of the strait. This will showcase the shared heritage and commitment to promoting Chinese culture and creating a better future together. The event features four sections—Artistic Tea Charm, Rural Tea Fun, Health-Promoting Tea Ceremony, and Confucian Tea Dialogues—comprising over 20 specialized activities. Through these exchanges and interactions, the youth of Jinan and Taiwan will build mutual understanding and camaraderie, walking forward hand in hand.
